My Gas Hog
Greetings,
OK let me get strait to the point we need prayers badly, you see we live 60 miles from the Mission Church, my wife and I have to drive two different vehicles back and forth as Fridays is my day to cook and she does not come over till the grandchildren and my son get out of school so she can bring them over for Sabbath Service and help with clean up….
Tuesdays she and I both are there all day but I come first and open while she comes a different way as she has to pick up food donations on the way…so you see we need two vehicles!
My wife is or was driving a 2004 Dodge ram that money was donated for her to buy the truck…the block is cracked from a blown radiator…yes my son can rebuild the motor..the cost just for the short block is around $1,999 to $3,500 depending, yes I might be able to find a used motor but you can see I need even for a used motor around $2,000..yes the truck is worth it…
Then my son who would do the work has no heated garage and we are in winter….also he works, so when he get's home it's already dark…spring is the word here right?
So where does that leave us or rather the Mission Church? I would guess we can really struggle make extra trips etc with my gas eating FORD but it is really going to make an incredible burden on us..
We need help, I need to just purchase a back up vehicle, I can grab a minivan or something large enough to carry the load and be cheaper on gas…but I need to raise $1,000 to $1,500 specifically for this..
We rely on your prayers and support to keep going as that is why this list was created, we have been running on Faith for almost a full 20 years which we will start our 20th year in June!
OH YES WE NEED A TRIP TO THE STOR FOR FRIADAY'S MEAL!
