Countdown to THANKSGIVING..and Friday Mission Update

Friday dinner hotdawgs, chips topped with chili beans and cheese

Greetings,

First about the pictures of the food was what was severed Friday at the Mission Church for dinner….they loved this I make it for them about every 3^rd week, but because of a surprise donation of food we received and might be ongoing we cooked chicken nuggets and pizza pockets out with egg sandwiches till we had everyone stuffed..I had to cook it because we have no freezer space…we have one freezer at the Mission Church we need another one so help us pray in anew freezer or that someone might bring us a good used one…the point is we need a freezer…

But yes the folks got very stuffed on Friday! But we always make sure of that J

We went turkey shopping, the picture is of 8 turkeys, when she gets done we will have roughly 310 pounds of cooked turkey and that is always possible to have to cook more for Friday, we will not know until after dinner on Thursday!

While it looks like we have most of all the major things we need by now we still will have to do our final shopping on Wednesday night, we have things to get like the sweet potatoes, pickles, Olives, beef broth, well you folks who cook or make dinner for Thanksgiving know what we mean right? It will add up we always spend $375 to $400 something each year, I wonder where the funds will come from this year each year it's someone different who at last minute donates it …..

Mission and Radio update...Thanksgiving

There is so much in the word about helping the poor whether it's in general or those in your own family it amazes me how the times we are in people act like they have never heard of it at least here in these United States, do not get me wrong there are many who are doing good but the numbers are very small compared to the amount of Christians in this country. Then talk about the homeless right now and well that's generally the end of the conversation. The Homeless have such a bad rap, people say all the time "Oh they want to be that way or they are hopeless druggies or alcoholics" Yes some are that way but the most do not want to be that way at all, it is so sad to see people act this way to them and almost as bad to the poor who have a roof…One thing that amazes me is we care for many that are not homeless in the poor dangerous neighborhood we are in, we do not care who walks in the door we help without judgment all who walk in….but when people talk about us we are just that ol homeless ministry or homeless preachers…that's ok but there is a real problem in how folks misjudge things or people not just us.

Then people act like well they do not know anything or they are not credible because after all they just minster to the homeless…really funny I read more books in a year than most read in a lifetime, those that really know me realize that I am a very credible researcher as ministries for years ask me to check and see if things are true or not..on this one it really gives me an advantage…one thing I know is that it's about the next life and not this one, the reason I have posted the various scriptures at the top is because folks need to realize how important it is to help one another as all belongs to THE FATHER and SON…and I am not talking about helping us..

BRR, it's very, very cold out! People are getting flu left and right! Are you one of them? One brother was telling me that at work fellow co workers went and received a flu shot, then shortly after all got sick…..no I do not do the flu shot anymore period…

So badly we need Coats, Blankets, Gloves, and cold medications for the poor, but this year the well seems to be dry. I will keep begging for the poor as I know that whenever I give a coat or a piece of pie to a poor person one of the least of these it is as we have done it unto YESHUA and that is what people just do not get, you want to serve the FATHER and HIS SON, then serve others….as HIS WORD TELLS us….people claim to know their Bible them why do they know this?

Speaking of as normal I badly need to get caught up on talk radio airtime which si not free and get ahead set for my wife as the cheap one she has she can only hear out of one ear piece ( yes she can hear from both ears it's the head set that is broken)….and my main computer needs a video card…

Yes we are trying to get sponseres for Thanksgiving our two busiest days of the year. We di get a doabtion of some turkey money but still need over $100 for that as we need 300 pounds of turkey. We did get some donatiosn of carrots we froze but really for the whole thing we need about $800 to get bveth job done.

Computer problems...could be no news or updates...and Mission update..Peach Cobbler

Greetings,

My computer, my main computer is on the blink, my screens have been blinking off for a few weeks and now that work and sometimes do not…this is on my main work computer! I need to get a video card that allows multiple screens otherwise for one there will not be much news going on my main in officer days and radio will be very hard without that computer!

We received this donation of #10 cans of fruit…so of course we are going to serve it out right, well my wife sent me this simple recipe for making peach cobbler…It bugged me as I have never made it..I do bake bread for the Sabbath each week …

So I used the fundamentals in the recipe as it was for a small dish and I needed to make it into pans of at least feed 28 servings? So I added some things and modified it…

Well it was a big hit!!!!!!!! Most everyone was bragging about it saying things like " That was as good or better than grandmas" This week I am making pineapple cobbler… J

We are headed into Thanksgiving time praying we get support for it earlier than later…the people are asking about it…we need much the turkey alone we need 300 pounds and right now we have one turkey……
