Mission Update.....a little warmer!

Greetings,

Will not talk about it much as there is not much more to say until the heating and air person comes on Friday at 2 PM…PLEASE keep this in prayer…

Also we need to pray in an Ice box and money to pay off the charge for the heaters, it was $280 something not $230 my wife informed me….

Oh and I can no longer get the heat to come on now at all but we do have two electric heaters and the weather is above freezing!

You know we are a ministry of faith as by faith we have now prayed in everything mostly since started in June that will start our 24^th year!

You see many would say well we cannot work without heat we should just stay home till it's fixed, no we trudge on and believe by faith there is a way and that way has always came about…..FAITH is an action word!

Romans 1:17

"For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith."

Some of the best advice I was ever given came from a friend of mine back in the 90's when I had a problem or thought I was in need he would say "just pray it in" it was like duh yes of course and it works that is why we ask for your prayers…I BET IF HE READS THIS HE WILL NOT EVEN REMEMBER!

MISSION UPDATE heat at the Mission Church

Us 37^th year together, She (mom LINDA) is 60 and I am (DAD Pastor Dan) 67! MISSION CHURCH 23 years

Radio 22 years!

Greetings,

Well I am glad we are going back to regular days as my brain get's messed up with doing different things on days I normally do things on….you see I am a creature of habit so to speak!

I will get to the main point of this as I know folks want to know about the Mission Heat ….

OK Friday we found that of course the heat was not working so we had to come out of hiding (My wife and I hide for a couple of days each year to celebrate our anniversary! It was number 37 we are now working towards 38 years!)

So yes I messed with the heat and got it on but we knew now when it kicks off when it reaches the set temperature it stays off until I mess with it again! So we went and bought, well charged two heaters and a cord a total of about $230 something I think it was…not a lot of choices as heaters were almost sold out at home depot because of the storm….

These two heaters would keep the pipes from freezing….(still have to raise funds to pay for them)

Called the heating and air people….Nope booked because of the storm so NEXT FRIDAY now This coming Friday at 2 PM was the soonest they could come out! This issue has to be fixed as it's been ongoing for some time slowly getting worse and worse until of course it hits with the point of has to be dealt with NOW in Winter of course!

So NO we do not know yet how much money we have to come with to get it fixed as we have no idea what it is….

Oh what I do know is that the Mission Ice box decided this was the best time to go out completely also…We have to get a new one like ASAP…Cost we found the cheapest that will work for the Mission is around $1,100 to $ 1,400….see how things are adding up here!

Yes if someone in Wichita wanted to donate one that is big enough that works OK but I would rather buy one so we do have to mess with it for a while!

All this depends on what The FATHER will provide….

The 25^th , we fed 75 or 76 I think my wife said the number was lower than expected because of the below freezing weather and our signs saying we would be open were gone of course…we were prepared for 200…Thanksgiving was 180! No matter people who need got fed and some other food was given out! Also some hoodies that was donated!

ANY WAY tomorrow the temperatures are coming back up so I bet we have well over a 100 show up…

I will be glad when January is over as our donations should start coming back up as normal when income tax returns hit….

Thanks to all our supporters this year ! Without you none of this would happen but credit goes to the FATHER and HIS SON of course!

Yes all is in HIS control…I pray that funding goes up soon and money for it all comes, we are also praying the whole unit for heating and cooling can be fixed…just again will not know till FRIDAY!

MISSION UPDATE; HEAT ON and ICE BOX not working .....

Greetings,

Earlier when I got here I could not get the heat to work! Sent out a prayer request and after some time I got it on, I believe that prayers did it but who am I to say right?

Then I go in the kitchen and my wife is taking everything out of the ice box as it stopped working so yes we need one badly as we have none now!

Freezing outside but the people keep coming of course we will do over a 100 TODAY AND THE 25^TH WE FIGURE IT WILL BE CLOSE TO 200~

We could use your help as normal, and prayers for an Ice Box!

By the way happy anniversary to my wife we will have been together since December 23^rd, 1985 making this our 37^th year starting 38!

Radio and mission Update.....

Greetings,

I am writing this or starting to write before the people come as with all Friday's I do not have much time after we get done feeding and cleaning to be ready for our service afterwards!

First no new radio this next week as my wife and I will be doing something for our 37^th year anniversary! She says I have been with you over half your life…so she has to remind me yuk, yuk….would have it no other way!

The 25^th we are preparing again for 200 to come, wow that's a lot for our small crew and kitchen but the miracle working my wife is it will get done! Thanksgiving we did 180! No one has sponsored the 25^th …..

Ok today I had to pick up a whole truck load of food then they had more so we went back and picked up another half a load with 5 boxes of winter clothing we put out!

We do need your help as this is a slow month for donations and does not get better till income tax time!

MISSION UPDATE: MANY PEOPLE...PRAYERS NEEDED

Greetings,

As with most ministries, our donation go down around November and do not start coming back till income tax time returns! So we are running short, if it was not for some of our regular people we really would be at a bad place….

But we are short in a couple of ways….we are preparing to feed as 200 again come December 25^th, no we do not celebrate that day as Yeshua's birthday but so much is closed that as normal when things are closed we open so people can eat!

Also I am a $1,000 short on something I need to pray in….

Also the Mission Church badly needs a computer and my laptop here the hard drive is full so it needs a hard drive!

According to NASA's calculations, asteroid 2005 ED224 could impact the Earth on March 11, 2023.

It is estimated to be 54-meters in diameter and normally, an asteroid this size would burn up or explode in the atmosphere. But ED 224 is traveling at 61,000mph and if it maintains this speed, the asteroid could penetrate the atmosphere and reach the ground. Such an impact would create a crater 1,000 meters wide and release enough explosive energy to destroy an entire city. If ED 224 misses in March, it is still on track to have four more potential impacts in 2028, 2029, 2030, and 2064.
