Mission update and Attention Wichita folks..brown bags
1 John 3:16-18

I pray this finds all of you well? As we speak it looks like everyone in my family is safe? Are yours…I do really mean that as you folks have kept us going for the last almost 20 years!
What we are doing we are making up bags of sandwiches and anything else we can find to put in paper bags…currently tomorrow they are getting a Hebrew nation hot dawg and an egg sandwich which I am praying that we can add to it of course they will get a couple of donuts..
We are very low on funds very low, (for food and mission Bills) we need things to make sandwiches and put in bags, like small bags of chips etc..if you can buy a couple of loaves of bread etc and donate please do it…we are serving from 1-3:30 PM bags and giving hygiene as well as encouraging words, prayers, and scripture as they wait and we are led, whatever we do it's mostly for everyone safety they get it and go.
It's hard and it would be easy to stay at home? I just cannot bring ourselves to, both my wife and I are high risk because she has COPD and some others things and I have Asthma..she is 57 and I will be 65 July 4th ….
My wife, my son, and I are only doing the work as we want no one else here to worry about…..
We need your help and your prayers no matter where you are at….if you are coming to donate text me please first! We can also use some of those blue hygiene gloves or any but the blue I heard were the best…
Radio we have been reporting that it would get this bad and even worse since January..radio listeners has went up worldwide but we need support for radio badly!

Ok today is Tuesday and you folks know that today was feeding day…when I went to bed last night I was unsure what or how we were going to care for the people. I got up feeling that maybe we should not go so I asked my wife she said it was up to me of course but to follow what my spirit was telling me…clearly I thought well could just stay hoem in our little town and be safe no one would condemn me…it just did not feel right so off we went not wondering what we would encounter!
About the time we were picking up our doughnut donation I received a text that as they put it " are you guys going to be open because everyplace is closed!" meaning that the homeless went to in the day time and evening to eat and etc…
So by now we had decided to feed sandwiches out the back door in the courtyard because our place inside is always packed wall to wall and guidelines said do not do that, so we decided on brown sacks which we would put egg sandwiches and donuts in…we also gave them iced tea…we also had leftover goulash from Friday so out it went..
We handed out bags with toilet paper, soap, and other hygiene items…(people fighting over toilet paper and we were giving it away)

When we arrived there were many waiting on us, they were exited we made it but I had to break the news I could not let them in…most were already upset because I soon found out for sure other places were closing even the overflow shelter…(I never called them to double check but others said the same thing)
The family that brings us eggs once a month said there were none to be had…so we are down to enough eggs for Friday period…we recived a $50 dontion because someone saw our live video on facebook (shock facebook people mostly never ever donate) so after we had to go hunt bread because we are down to two and a half loaves…not enough for Friday..
Walmart had a two loaf limit until my wife went and hunted up a manger, so we secured 20 loaves for the Mission Church..a few other thinsg also so it wasa very blessed and needed donation so we are now set for Friday! ( well we still need some other things like gas to get there and back, but in almost 20 years the FATHER has never ever let us down, all by faith)
We plan on doing this feeding and giving clear though unless they shut us out of Wichita, I really need to get our mail out newsletter out to our list but have no ink for the printer! Yes of course we are broke as mostly normal but we are alive and doing the FATHER'S work…and guess what it was not the sandwiches that matterd but the feeling of the folks who said no one cared that everyone just closed and went hoem to their nice warm houses not caring what happened to them…it made them feel someone cared and we do because the FATHER does…unto the least of these..
We also are behind on radio air-time…

Helping during the shut down...feeding the people live video

In Wichita we heard all the places the homeless go for food and services has closed..when we arrived we were packed…closed space too many people in closed area so we had to feed outside and will till this is over BUT we really need your support, as the folks need much!
I was here also for personal hygiene items! Prayer and other things as needed!

Sick folks and egg sandwiches

Greetings,
If you read my last quick update cry for help it was resolved by someone making a quick donation for that I am very thankful! Today I am helping the wife make some egg sandwiches..she just took over as she brought eggs from the chickens at home for the folks…they claim they taste so much better!
Unsure about the coronavirus as to how bad it will be, many folks are dying and others barely have symptoms, older folks are hit the worst and it attacks the worst though the lungs…no child under 10 years old has died from it as of yet…
Regular flu kills and is a real pain in the neck for most and devastating if you have nothing to help relieve the symptoms…I need a trip to the store to get some things for them, we need at least a $100 to help these folks out..
Also I am running very short this week because a donation that comes every week did not come so that sent us back $50…I praying it was an oversight or something because we badly depend on it each week….
We need your support as I do not know what direction this flu will go and the Mission bills needs paid like ASAP as well as radio…it would greatly help if I could geta newsletter out but I need printer ink and some stamps..
