What the Bible says about Jesus Kept Passover as Abib 14 Began
Another critical point is that, despite Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread being distinct festivals, they were commonly grouped together and simply called "Passover." Thus, when the gospel writers mention "Passover," it can sometimes refer to the Passover sacrifice itself (Matthew 26:17; Mark 14:12), the day when the sacrifice was made (Mark 14:1), or the whole eight-day period of Abib 14-21 (Passover plus Unleavened Bread; Luke 22:1).
In actuality, then, there were really two Passover observances happening at the time of Jesus: one led by the priests at the Temple and the other observed by the people in their homes. These separate observances were also at different times: The Temple-kept Passover was observed late in the afternoon of Abib 14, while the home-kept Passover was kept at the beginning of Abib 14. As the gospels show, Jesus and His disciples ate the Passover in a home rather than at the Temple, observing it the evening before the priests did at the Temple. In other words, Jesus kept it as Abib 14 began, while the priests kept it as Abib 14 ended.

Mission Update! TENTS...wow

It's only as the high today 25% at night it's been 7% or lower! I have a great need for 3 tents more really! But 3 would help for Friday they are $29 and some change from wal-mart plus tax…
So $100 would get 3…$200 would get six! And so ON!

Mission update..Big day
Greetings,
A very big day it was warmer so more showed up needing food and well everything….We had received a donation of blankets and hygiene for some Mennonite lady and her daughters…they belong to a group that makes quilts ..so we had many to give but not enough for all…we badly need blankets and I have people badly needing tents! Just please watch the videos!

Mission update...new Ice Box

We could not wait any longer for the Mission to have a Ice box so I am still praying for the way to pay it off in full as the Mission is not in any dept except monthly bills etc….
Food donations were slow today but we have many people coming for food…

An Exciting day at the Mission Church...shooting? Drive by?
Greetings,
We fed 116…better weather and gave out a bunch of food as you can see from the video..hardly anything left we put out!
After feeding I had to run an errand, when I came back there were police like everywhere…it seems the biker club house down the block had a shooting where at least 17 rounds were fired! Was some hit, well we have yet to find that out but as you can see in the videos it looks like an army of police out there about 3 blocks worth a rectangle of police…
But as I say we are in one of the worst parts of Wichita, Kansas!
No we have not bought an ice box yet….the heat is working find and it better stay that way as the first bid on replacing was $20,000 and change! I am going to see if I can find someone who can simply rewire it? BUT it'[s working!
So right now it's get an Ice box!

MISSION CHURCH UPDATE! Nicer out today! That was a blessing for sure

Nicer out today! That was a blessing for sure!
No we have not gotten and Ice-Box yet and are still in need….
Now the heat and air unit is still working really good I might add but it was explained to me it could go out again any time as it an old wiring issue…?
I did have them come and tell me what a new replacement unit would be but we have no funds for and I will not try to replace unless I absoultly have to as I have no funds for that period! But I will post what I find out!
I cannot wait till tax time so donations will pick back up!
