Coronavirus, Thankfulness, Sheppard's pie, a Mission Update

Greetings,
Today my wife is making Sheppard's Pie, if you had not had this down home dish you just do not know what you are missing! It has potatoes, vegetables, and hamburger covered with mashed potatoes baked in the oven! It will sure stick to your ribs! It will also be served with canned peaches, Cole slaw, bread and a donut! Yum..Friday I am making goulash if I get enough funds in to get some pasta. We are really thankful that we have meat for a few weeks ahead but need things to add the meat to…the FATHER will provide!
I have a real concern about the coronavirus we have followed the progress with our radio program, it gets much worse daily..YOU need to make some preparation for it now…it is going to be very, very , bad! Here at the Mission Church we are fighting the normal flu but if we are going to be able to open when the C-flu hits we need funds for preparation, just more of what we are doing now but the normal flu has ran us out of supplies and the people who come here need help! Pray about helping us please so we can help them…

We are so thankful for our regular for our regular supporters on this list we are not asking to do over what you do now but asking others to chip in…but we need prayers for sure

Should not have died..a Mission Update
My Wife (Linda) making eggs for sandwiches..

Greetings,
Today I am greatly grieved over the fact that a homeless fellow we have know for almost 20 years was beaten to death under a bridge…I am hearing reports that it could have been teenagers who go around beating up the homeless for sport or fund whatever….this is an ongoing thing as long as I can remember young people in this city has been doing this. They are also raiding homeless camps tearing up things and not taken anything from what I hear but just terrorizing …what is wrong with these children oh I know lack of parent intervention I would suppose..
There is a place here a ministry that care for the poor and get's too many food donations…one of the guys who cook for them used to come here and eat egg sandwiches, his boss told them to find a place to get rid of their excess so he has been bringing it here…we get huge amounts of fresh or almost fresh vegetables and other odd and ends, sometime even meat! It has been a real blessing as we are so tight on donations…October, November and December was good this year, but when Jan. hit only the regular donations are coming in so it's just not enough to cover everything…we generally do not pull out of this till income tax time….
With tax time coming we need to get out a mail out newsletter to some supporters quick! I am out of ink for the printer and need postage around $250…
We are still functioning people are very blessed in fact we have been feed many families bread, vegetables, and other things that come in the donation I was speaking of so a larger amount of people are blessed..the clothing closet is empty and I am out of cold medications…we badly need them..
I am writing a book and have away to publish it should bring in funds for the Mission Church, I have been trying to write on my main computer but it's hard with everything coming in that needs attention… I had someone say they had a laptop to donate but they said they had to locate it…which was weeks ago…
But we are here blessing the people..

Hamburger and Rice with gravy a MISSION UPDATE
Today My Wife made one of our favorites
Hamburger and Rice with carrots and other stuff in it.
She then put creamy chicken gravy on it….these are to go plates!

Today My Wife made one of our favorites, Hamburger and Rice with carrots and other stuff in it. She then put creamy chicken gravy on it that was left over from last Friday served with a donut, subway bread, and fruit! It was something that would really stick to your ribs as wow it very cold out trying to snow!
They were bragging to me about how my wife treated them so good today as when they first got here she fed them the leftover turkey, gravy, and dressing from Friday along with donuts, egg sandwiches and more!
I gave rides in our bus with no heater but the folks never complain..they were happy to get to the other side of town. We are seeing flu not as bad as normal but the worst is yet to come and we are almost out of cold medications!
We are now in February, January was almost dead for donations as normal, you see Jan-Feb. are normally slow very slow in donations because of the Holidays..
We could really use some prayer right now for our finances and that our vehicle problem will get solved as her vehicle is down and we need to fix or get a replacement vehicle to use until later when we have more funds to fix her truck…any help would be a great blessing!
