Making Beds for those outside …
by doing this we shamed the city into funding the winter overflow for two extra months a year…
This was when we first got into our new building….13 years ago we had to do it several years in a row
By the way even when real beds opened up elsewhere they refused to leave us
because they said to others when asked " Pastor Dan and Sister Linda Love us"
The Blankets were free until Obama was elected then he stopped the Free Blanket Program!

I will address Tabernacles first…we have not been trying very hard to get money for this Feast and here is why…
In Our Lives Serving the FATHER and the SON is first and foremost…so therefore the Mission Church of course. We are still trying to come out of a very hard summer so if we pushed for donations for "Tabernacles" then it might take from the "Mission Church" and by default Radio which is where support comes from in part well over half for the Mission Church…both are tied together no matter what and so radio is behind also…
We received a free entry which includes a free meal everyday from the Lion and Lamb event, http://www.lionandlambministries.org/events/tabernacles something we have wanted to go to for years but never had enough funds to do so….
This year we hoped and prayed as we also figured that we would get to meet some long time supporters that we really have never met at this event and maybe gain some new contacts and support for both Radio and The Mission Church…
So then we received a $500 donation to get ready for the trip…meaning get the camper ready, we have an old beat up one that has rotten walls etc but for us we decided to jump in and try at least. The $500 was spent to buy tags and tires for it…so then we needed more funds to work on it right? Ok so a brother who watched us trying gave us a $400 blessing which finished the work on it and it's is ready to go, my son had to rewire and do plumbing and make new stuff work with old…he even had to over haul the heating system so we could go in the cool air….he did so, really all works with yep even hot water, oh we still need a battery for the camper.
At this point you are saying well why can you not go now?
We cannot go because we have no travel money, meaning gas to pull it by my wife's truck (which had to have the top end rebuilt because of a blown radiator, this my son fixed also on very little money, he is a miracle worker! He keeps everything running, this was a $2000 expense coming out of summer which we did not have of course )
We also have no expense money meaning money to eat etc once we get there…..for 3 people…and the deadline is SUNDAY for leaving!
Then another paradox arises, my wife each month pays the bills for the church as they are due, lights, water, internet, trash, etc just like you folks at home right. Ok but bills come due that during the time we are gone…also money to pay THOSE BILLS comes during the week we would be gone so without us being here to put the money in the bank as it comes in the mail then those bills go unpaid and shut off or do over drafts etc… We are $800 short of that goal to pay them before we leave…
We still might go!
Many times, well more than many times, money comes at the very last minute, it has to be from specific sources or marked so …but it could happen if HE wants us to go….
Ok now the Mission Church and Radio
We are out of eveything and we are starting to be asked how much we need for Turkeys meaning Thanksgiving is our biggest day of the year BUT we do not want people doing that yet as we are still trying to recover from a bad summer…So pray for us, we have dedacated our life to the Wichita Mission Church to sevre the FATHER and SON….almost a full 20 years, we even rose our children and now grandchildren around this and everything in our lives has been for this…we worked this for the FATHER and not others meaning we have no money to retire other than Socal Security which at 64 I now use to pay the Mission lease to buy….I plan on seving the FATHER till I drop…as does my wife…the minsitry is a labor of love and we sacrifices so much to do this…most will never undertsand..BUT NO COMPLANT FROM US we would do it all over again and the proof is we have NO plans to stop…just looking for different ways to provide.
As for radio we know for sure we reach all over the world and have even recived money from places like China and the Phillipines etc that really you would think neeed help from us! I just love having my wife on with me each week as well as getting a chance to speak with people about Bible Prophecy and current events from all over the world…book authors many of them do speaking engagments all over the country so radio lets us talk to some of them as we cannot afford to attaned prophecy conferences as many others do…yes I would love to attend many BUT our work for the poor comes first…BUT we are blessed, by radio! And yes radio need's paid!
My plea is not for us and Tabernacales but for the MISSION CHURCH AND RADIO!
We will do as many other folks who cannot afford a trip do, we will keep Tabenacles at home as well normal.....we are very thankful for it….
